CE TV, Season 3, Episode 9: Artist-in-Residency Programs, Part 3 As many artists have discovered, attending a residency not only provides them with the time, means and inspiration to do their work, but the experience often literally changes their lives. In this last Season 3 episode exclusively devoted to a handful of residency programs, TCE TV’s host Janelle Giuliani talks with directors of residency programs down the block, across the nation and around the globe. Zigzagging across the continent, the show’s first presentation (filmed during TransCultural Exchange’s 2025 International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts: Avenues for Daring) is by La Napoule Art Foundation in the beautiful south of France; followed by a mentorship program for “Audacious Minds” in Germany, FORECAST; a short-time residency, whose location changes from one residency to the next, DFEWA Residences Worldwide; a residency for research and creation in Barcelona, a cobert; a unique opportunity that takes place in an old Sardine Factory in Norway, USF Verftet; and a look at the possibilities for artistic exchange at the International University of Sarajevo’s Art Gallery; before ending with a residency on the beautiful island of Crete, the Mudhouse Artist Residency.
